Just as important as engaging in regular physical exercise is keeping the brain active on a constant basis.
This collection of booklets aims to develop cognitive abilities in a playful way, combining core elements of the game of chess with traditional puzzles and activities. The exercises included promote both intellectual stimulation in children and young people and cognitive maintenance in older adults, thereby helping to prevent the deterioration of mental functions.
The collection is organized by themes, with more than one booklet dedicated to certain topics depending on the level of difficulty or intended focus: student stimulation, therapeutic use, or cognitive workshops for seniors, among others.
The innovative methodology and complementary materials used make it possible to work on these booklets through hands-on workshops in the classroom, adapting them to student diversity and facilitating assessment.
This collection can also serve as a resource in workshops aimed at developing cognitive and creative skills, particularly within the projects Play and Learn and Chess for Everybody.

The combination of traditional sudokus with poliominós (tetraminós, pentaminós,…) and chess favors the creation of new typologies of sudokus more fun and, also, that can be used in the educational field.
