Creative Chesss an innovative project whose objective is to promote and develop the learning and maturation of students in the Infant stage through the implementation of <strong>educational chess</strong>.
The methodology of this project is based on the Universal Design of Learning (UDL) model, on the transversalities of chess, on the incorporation of gamification, on the use of learning landscapes and on the use of manipulative workshops.
Chess, as a game and didactic resource, is ideal for students to learn by playing.
From the board and the pieces of the chess game, stories, songs, motor games, activities and exercises are used to encourage imagination, curiosity, creativity, emotional skills; helps to enhance cognitive abilities, oral and written expression and comprehension, and to develop motor skills and graphometry.
